Freind of mine who is a Rockies fans blamed the Rockies woes, which could lead them to set a new all-time season record for futility, on Pope Leo.  Said he has put in a word with the Man upstairs to get people to quit talking about the 2024 White Sox. (-;

Since his trace Andrew Vaughn is 31 for 89 with 7 HR and 28 RBI.  Maybe he just needed a change of scenery?  Or a little more protection in the line up?

I am not. I get on my wife's account to see pics and keepup with the 4 grandkids and my 2 kids. but other than that I am not.

How are you doing Metodo? Good to hear from you. I check on here periodically and Pete Ward sometimes has posts.

Saw nice article on Sox on the mlb.com main page. Something about "are the Sox for real". I thought it was interesting although I do not follow a lot of the analytics, so some of it was out of my range of stats knowledge anymore, I guess I am too much old school.

Buddy came up from Kankakee, we went to the Sox game yesterday in Minny. Sox looked great. Antonacci is a helluva table setter. 4-4 with a walk and HBP. Got to see my favorite, Grant Taylor. He dominated them for 2 innings, almost unhittable. Not as big as the Goose was but he goes after the hitters like Gossage did. He has huge thighs like Tom Seaver had. He is a STUD. Can be a great closer or convert him to a starter.

If we can hang in there while Mune is out we can have one hell of a year. Loving this team

Glad to see some posts, maybe this message board has a heart beat!?  Yes, love this team.  Gotta love a team that is "home grown" without a big name players or free agent signings that hustles.

Trying to figure out how to get to Chicago for a game.

I guess they talk on Facebook, or at least I have been asked by Method and Shoeless if I have a face account. I do not, no plans to get one either. I do talk to Shoe over on IlliniGuys.com forum. We both have different handles over there.
