None of them deserve to be in the HOF in my opinion.

The guys who have the "stats" all were roid guys. There are a few guys who are borderline and probably will make it but to me the HOF is all about the best of the best and I don't see that in that list. Who do you think deserves it?

That HOF list is like a who’s who of crappy washed-up Sox pickups in the late ‘00’s and early ‘10s.

The Rays are getting close to a contract extension with star young shortstop Wander Franco. Get more details at MLB Trade Rumors.
MLB Trade Rumors · mlbtraderumors.com

Wander Franco extended for 11 years. Total value of $182M (minimum) ~ $223M (maximum) depending on performance, MVP voting outcomes, etc.
There's also a 12th year at $25M as a club option; my guess is that by that time, $25M will be a bargain for even an above-average player.

I think teams that do this are really nuts. No way do I give guaranteed money to a very young player. I think the Pads were nuts with the Tatis Jr. contract.

Another thing about Franco that concerns me. His body type makes my think that he is not going to be a short-stop for very long. He is short and very thick in the lower body and I think that hamstring issues or lower back issues are going to plague him down the road. Also, what the hell is the incentive for guys like this to max out their effort when they have been made multi-millionaires?

Well, per the terms of the contract, there's about another $50M in performance incentives available to him, not to mention the fact that he'll be (at most) 32 when this deal expires.

Plus there's the drive to win - I'm hoping for their sake that the Rays know who Franco is (as a person) and what motivates him.

I just do not think that the drive to win is there with a heck of a lot of players sitting on big fat contracts. But beyond that, in Franco you have a 5'10" guy who weighs 190#. And he is a young man. My guess is that when he reaches physical maturity, I bet this guy is going to be pudgy.

I dunno - I was 5’9” 185 at his age. About 75% legs.
Now at age 37 I am 5’9” 165.

You, sir,  are a smart man. Most men outside of the sports field, gain weight as they age. For many, they put on much too much weight. But, in baseball, enormous effort is made for pretty much all positions to build muscle mass for young athlete, some legally, some not legally. the long ball rules the game now and the 100 mph fastball is the target of young pitchers coming up. I think that the Rays made a mistake on a guy who is already pretty thick for his height. He isn't going to get taller so my guess is that he is going to end up at 3rd base and get heavier. With more weight and muscle comes less speed and quickness.

Hell, what do I know? He might end up being another Harmon Killebrew:)

The Dodgers would be interested in Kimbrel since they are losing their closer.  I'd talk to them about Gavin Lux in return. Lux, I believe, is a future all-star. I believe that they will re-sign Corey Seger and Seger is blocking Lux's progress in the organization. Lux can play SS. 2B, and outfield. He is very athletic and is only 23 years old.
