another bad defensive game. Harrison, Anderson, McGuire & Pollock all with bad gloves.

a guy like Keuchel with no velocity has to have pinpoint control & movement. He's walked 11 in 15 innings and his pitches are flat.

Thank God Matt Foster has returned to form. Was listening on Sirius and when DJ said Bummer was warming up I thought "they're gonna need more runs". Went away for a while and sure enough, come back to find Cubs on the corners and only one out.

I really liked Foster 2 years ago, last year he did poorly. Sounds like he has a chance again.

Harrison (35 in July) - .145
Pollock (34) - .176

these guys seem to be following the predictable Sox pattern of acquiring old vets just before their production falls off a cliff.

We have big roster questions.
Moncada will be coming off the IL/DL, so I assume Mendick goes down again - who gets sent down when Vaughn comes back?

Joe Kelly comes off rehab soon, which reliever gets sent down?

One could argue that, in Harrison's case, it was well after his production had already fallen off of said cliff.

Pollock's peripherals are concerning.... his batted ball rates are not looking good.

I keep just comparing him to his one-hit wonder year in 2014.

On the aggregate, slash lines are a great way to judge.
On an individual game level, they are more than offset by statistical noise.
TA needs to figure out what’s going on with him.

Very frustrating game. Cease with 11 K's thru 4 innings but has given up 6 runs. Seems when the Yanks hit 'em, they're hitting 'em a long way
