An interesting comment by Stone when he said that Robert if he can stay healthy could become the best player in the game. One thing for sure, he sure looks 100% better than he was last season and last season he was pretty damned good:)

Tony absolutely starts rookies and quite normally the day they are called up.  It is not correct to say Tony doesn’t start rookies.

 I am not referring to spot starts like he normally does for any rookie brought up. Tony just doesn't trust rookies. HE isn't an exception to this either. A lot of baseball managers do not like starting a rookie if they have a veteran at the same position.

Maybe even include some incentives for Top 5 MVP +/or Cy Young Award votes.  I'd be really hesitant to offer him more. 

I agree with you Andy, also agree with Love that the Padres will go high, before his arm started bothering him the Yankees were really in a lather over him becoming a FA.

NO question that his loss in velocity will make other teams hesitant about making a long term contract tp him. I think that this leaves the White Sox in a very good spot, really regarding resigning him. I don't know a dollar amount but the Sox are in the best position to really know the truth about his shoulder and I trust Hahn to take the information and deal with it accordingly.

You know. back in late August during on of his outings, Stone commented that Stone had a "tired arm". I think Stone was right then and that is the extent of what he has, namely a "tired arm". Makes sense and I am optimistic that he ends up back with the White Sox next year for awhile.

Nice game along around. Lynn looked good. Anderson pretty much cinched another .300+ BA for his third straight season. Sheets showed really good plate coverage with two strikes on him.

I do like Haase behind the plate for the Tigers. He'd be a good guy to trade for.
