make your choice.  These are the ONLY choices available in this poll.  No fire them all or two of the three.  Just one guy sacked. Chose one of the three: Kenny Williams, Ozzie Guillen or Greg Walker.

one vote per member.  This poll is for four days.

possible reasons for firing Kenny Williams:  Bad trades (examples - both Swisher trades, Tony Pena trade, acquiring Mark Teahen from Royals, Dan Hudson for Edwin Jackson, etc.).  Bad contracts: extending Mark Teahen, signing Scott Linebrink.  Claiming Alex Rios on waivers.  Signing the biggest free-agent bust of the off-season in Adam Dunn.  Putting his friend Dave Wilder in as Senior Director of Player Personnel which led to skimming money from the organization through kickbacks to Wilder and his co-conspiring scouts from the over inflated signing bonuses of bad ballplayers.

possible reasons for firing Ozzie Guillen:  his mouth, his dufus son's twitter account, his act may have worn thin with the players and questionable moves this season which may have lost them games.

possible reasons for firing Greg Walker:  the White Sox offense sucks and has done so for the last few years.  His inability to help Adam Dunn, Alex Rios or Gordon Beckham perform to their expected capabilities.

Sorry, but I want them all gone - including a new chairman.

I voted for Fire Walker.  Give KW and Oz another year with a different batting coach to see if there's any improvement in the offense.  My money says there will be.

Like the forced-choice.    I picked Kenny; this team is handcuffed for the next few years with 3 horrible contracts and will probably lose Buehrle as a result.

Getting a different batting coach isnt going to get the cobwebs out of Rios's head. He isnt going to hit consistantly with a different batting coach. Even if he did it wouldnt make that contract worthwhile. We should never have picked him up off waivers in the first place.

The Ozzie and Kenny thing boils down to who you blame. If you despise your GM and he gets you this player and he stinks you play him to make the GM look bad so that the blame if firmly fixed. I think there are a lot of mind games being played here, some we arent privy to. I still believe that Ozzie is a good manager. With the right players Ozzie would be a much better manager.

I chose Kenny, but I'd really like to see them all go.  Possibly Jerry too.  It's just time for a change already.  It's been 30 YEARS!!!   :o

KW brings up de Aza as a way of saying to the team (and Rios) "produce or else" and Ozzie promptly sits Rios ONE game.  I'm sick of all of them.  If I only get one choice, it's fire KW and pray the new GM fires Ozzie and Walker.

Ozzie's act has worn thin.  The bad line-ups, the talk about "playing baseball the right way" (while he continues to throw lolligaggers like Rios out there), the nonsense with the tweets.  Ozzie's teams start slow and they tank it in the end.  I think he was a good manager for awhile, but whatever he had is gone.

There are certainly strikes against Kenny, too, but I am ok with some mistakes causes by being an agressive GM.  He needs to get his head out of Mr. Rectum over drafting, and paying the price for talent, and actually thinking that you might bring talent--and not only trade fodder--through your minor-league system.  And his passive-aggressive crap when dealing with Ozzie is a big strike, but a fresh manager may help with a lot of this.

New theory on the Dunn / Rios situations:

Ozzie likes "NL-style ball."

He must've meant that he's been longing for an automatic out in the lineup.

A couple of recent Joe Cowley tweets:

You can change the GM, manager, hitting coach and the damn uniform colors. Fact is you aren't changing the fact that Rios and Dunn are back.

Average team, bad contracts, too many players that don't have the foxhole mentality to win baseball games over the course of 162 games.

Why drag up the uniform colors? That hasnt got anything to do with the production on the field.

If both players start off slow next year, maybe the new manager will know how to use them properly, either by not batting them in critical spots in the order or not playing them at all.

Maybe a hitting coach will be able to pull heads out of rectal orifices.

The odds against that are a million to one. We have to be sending that to the miracle department. Besides, Dunn's problem seems to be his bat speed or not seeing the ball well. He seems to not make contract right when he does connect.

The uniform colors are fine.  Cowley was just making a point.  No "foxhole mentality."  Exactly.

I think you have to write off this year for Dunn and give him a chance to start fresh next year.  If he continues to stink it up, then do something with him.

As for Rios, package him in a trade with another player (Beckham?  Pierre?) demote him to AAA, eat his salary... anything, just keep him off the field.

I wouldn't mind seeing almost a whole new lineup out there for 2012 and go through a rebuilding year or two.  Just remove the stench that comprises this current team.

I agree Rios has to be GONE somehow some way.

Beckham? He should have been sent down a long time ago to learn what a strike is and what he should swing at.

Maybe Frank Thomas should take him under his wing?

But the uniform colors have nothing to do with a foxhole mentality, that I can see. I cant see how the two are related in any way.

I think his point was that changing coaches and/or GMs would be as impactful as changing uniform colors; i.e., none.

Well that I disagree with. I think you have to change the GM. You have to have a different focus on personnel decisions and thats the job of your GM, thus your GM has a great impact on your play on the field.

If KW is gone Ozzie better be gone too, if only for the sole reason that if KW gets canned and not Ozzie, can you imagine how big Ozzie's arleady big ego would get? I don't know if I could stand the arrogance he and his kid will likely exude.
