Jake Burger injured in the bottom of the 3rd inning running out a groundball.  Looks like he caught a spike and went down about 25 feet short of 1st.  Don't know the extent of his injury but he was helped to his feet and carted out.

Not a good Burger and Fry day.

Fry gave up 4 in the 9th before Danish got the 1 out save.

Jon Heyman‏
Scouts are absolutely raving about chisox prospect Luis Robert. That team has more 4-star prospects than anyone. (Yanks, padres, braves just behind)

Hector Santiago, Rob Scahill & Jeanmar Gomez are the 3 non roster invitees who should make the team - Santiago should be the 5th starter (**** Fulmer, let's see if he can get his ERA under 5 at AAA) & Gomez & Scahill seem to be decent relievers who can be flipped mid season.

Unfortunately the 40 roster is at 39. What to do?

Carlos Rodon will probably start the season on the 60-day DL which will open up one spot on the 40-man roster.  Gregory Infante hasn't made an appearance in a ST game so he's likely to be dropped from the 40-man roster so there are the 3 spots you're looking for.

What is wrong with Infante? I thought he had a good year last year, is it an elbow or shoulder?

Easing back in: Reliever Gregory Infante has been slowed by shoulder inflammation but should throw a bullpen session Sunday or Monday.

The right-hander appeared in 52 games with the Sox last season and is in the mix to secure a spot in the rebuilt bullpen. Manager Rick Renteria said it is “too early” to determine whether Infante will be ready for opening day March 29 in Kansas City.

“If we can get him to go full tilt and get him some work on the side and maybe on the back fields to see where he’s at, there’s no reason to believe he can’t work himself back,” Renteria said.

Infante looks like he'll get a DL stint followed by a rehab, but I doubt he'll be cut, can't designate for assignment a guy on DL.

Rodon could be put on 60 DL, hard to believe minor surgery will keep him out for a whole year - still think the Sox aren't telling the truth about Rodon
