You mean they just recorded it with current band, or was it with the band that had Brian Jones on lead guitar and Bill Wyman on base?

My sister had the 6X12 Album of the Stones (their 2nd maybe??). It was a lot like these songs, very bluesy. I loved it. Jagger can play the harp.

Andy, Juan.

While i am 100% certain i sent sox charities our bet cash... they sent me a nice calender in return last month. I cannot find my card statement with the donation. I will remake it today...

However i'd like to ask for a small edit, I'd prefer to make this one to the NRDC... if agreeable to each of you that is.

OK with me if you want to donate the $25 to a different charity to settle your wager with me.

IIRC, your bet with Juan was for a 'drink' and not a donation to charity.

Juan is a slick ole cuss. Took me for a bottle of Dom one year at SoxFest, not even sure what the bet was, but he won it.

Method,

Don't need the donation, nor the beer. What would settle the bet is locating Minoats, am worried he may not be alive.

Just heard this song by Eilen Jewell -- Boundary County -- anybody familiar with her?  She seems to have that high lonesome.

As a wee lad in 1960, I loved this TV show. Always hoping to see a member of the '59 A.L. Champs take part in the show but it never happened.  Here are all 26 episodes:

Anyone who grew-up in Chicagoland from the mid-50s to the late 80s should remember this animated short as it was a Christmastime staple on WGN-TV's Garfield Goose.

Bet I have asked a dozen people over the years if they ever heard of Hardrock, Coco and Joe. Came up in discussions about old cartoons. I suppose most grew up in Minnesota or maybe Iowa/Wisc. None ever heard of them.

George Carlin's "Seven Words You Can Never Say on Television": "shit", "piss", "fuck", "cunt", "cocksucker", "motherfucker", and "tits".
