I think opposing team GMs have been reading this site the past few years. Loveland's continuing rant on Q has obviously dropped his value below what Hahn and us Q fans believe.

And since most posts here are pokes, what's your point?

Loveland is really Jed Hoyer.  I thought everybody knew that.

I never encountered a woman in my life who didn't think she was right. I think that's par for the course

I see that SoxFest is about to begin and Loveland's favorite White Sox pitcher is still a member of the Sox. Usually there is a big show and tell at SoxFest. I am surprised he hasn't been unloaded yet.

I am glad Hahn is sticking to his guns, KW would have caved in by now and taken less.

I too am glad we are holding out for a better deal. We need excellent deals not the usual crappy deals. We need to "Put the White Sox first". If you are trading all star talent you should get excellent players in return.

Well, we got a huge haul for Chris Scissorhands and DL Eaton. We don't have to tear it all down today. There'll be some desperate GMs around the all-star break that we can fleece...

I keep reading that teams are now low balling the sox on offers for Q and Robertson...

Well... yea... we sold our best pieces first... now everyone knows we are sellers and the best bits are gone. If you sell Q first you'd still have a killer market for Sale.

Q is under contract for another 4 years, right? No rush to trade him.

Peter Bourjos (sp?) signed a minor league contract with Sox.

We are getting down to nitty and gritty as for trades for the beginning of this season but here is an article that supposedly shows the value of our most tradeable star players and what the author believes we should get back.

Reed Martes tucker sounds like a crazy package for Q... but with them now getting Cards supplemental and 2nd rounder... maybe they would do it.

Hope they get off to a rocket start offensively and struggle with SP.... Hope reed gets beaten out and sent to AAA making him more of a tradable commodity.

Reed might not be the most athletic fellow (leading to issues maintaining his mechanics at his size) ... but he has a sweet lefty swing, he might bust big time, but he's equally likely to figure it out. Its obviously that time of year but i have read he's lost a few Lbs... etc. haha.

While I get wanting to trade for prospects, I would rather have Norris. Better framing and a vet who can help our young pitchers. Decent bat as well.
Not sure what Severino can do that Collins won't.

no point in getting Norris - he's 28 & a FA in 2019.
