I'm sure the 5K or so at the park tonite are thrilled to see fat bastard in the lineup once again.

He can't do any harm now, let him GIDP and K as much as he wants.

At this point, he's like the Wildcat Bob of our offense.

How fitting... Ozzie's last game as manager and he spends it fiddling while Santos sets Rome on fire.

I believe he's in reach of something historical isn't he?

Ted Williams didn't want to sit out that doubleheader to protect his .400, and Dunn shouldn't be any different. Go for it!!!

So Williams comes out smelling sweet as a rose with all his bad deals? Sorry, its time Reinsdorf mans up and fires Williams. Its his deals that have kept the Sox from the post season  since 06

Last 10 games Humber is 1 - 5 with a 6.15 era. Not good.

Who gets the blame for that? Ozzie? Coop? or the guy who picked him up, KW?

pretty much expected him to tail off at the end of the year -- his first half numbers were too good, water finds its level, etc

He's never thrown more than 21 innings at the ML level, either.

I think he comes back strong next season.  Maybe not as "lights-out" good, but solid.

That, and he's never throw more than 140 innings in ANY season, I think.
