Yea we got lucky, boat took the brunt of it. A few down tree limbs but nothing we can't handle.

Juan,

I retire in 3 years so I've been working on my "second" career. I finished my law degree ( like the world needs another d-bag lawyer, just kidding no offence to any here), Also, working on being a partner in a historical restoration company. I've already got my boat.  I'm currently going through whiskeys to establish my day drinking routine. Scotch (Glenlivet, Balvenie and Mackinlay's Shackelton, I'm a sucker for anything that has a historical significance. I pretty much have devoured any books I could get my hands on with regards to Antarctica Exploration). Irish ( Jameson's Caskmates, IPA and Stout)

Good job preparing Dope, sounds like you got a good plan, now just execute it. Glad to hear you are doing well.

Thanks MSF, good see everyone here too.

Have you ever been to Norske Nook Bakery? If not, its a bit of a drive, but I think the closest to you is in Osseo, WI (SW of Eau Claire) or Rice Lake WI ( Hayward but that's further). The best pie I've ever had. For those close to the Chi, there is one in Deforest which just north of Madison

No, but my son lives in Eau Claire with two of my grandkids. We come from the SW, so I would think it must be somewhat close. Just checked, it is SE of Eau Claire. I might have to check that out. My wife would crap her pants if I took her somewhere when we travel. I am quite the Point A to Point B type of driver typically.
