The Bullpen Bar, Patio, & Picnic Area
« on: April 10, 2011, 04:25:18 pm »
The place to discuss everything else.  Named in honor of the fan areas of U.S. Cellular Field and the Bill Veeck installed old left-field viewing area of old Comiskey Park.

OK - so one thing I don't get with this whole Charlie Sheen thing:

The show Two and a Half Men that everyone talks about - is that supposed to be funny?

When you see what passes for "funny" on this board, do you really want to be asking this crowd?

Semi-bummer news.

And yes, I was at that Toots show in 2008.   Great show, but the sound sucked.

Semi-bummer news.

That is a semi-bummer. Bummer because it was nice to have an actual reggae-oriented club in the area (JohnJeter the Inebriated would even attempt to dance to reggae), and semi-, because the crowd started trending toward wannabe hipsters/fake stoners, as well as the chad/broheim/trixie element which still is pervasive up there. But hipsters. . .ugh. Hate phuckin' hipsters.

Is a hipster automatically a fake stoner?

How can you tell a real stoner from a fake one?

And is a fake stoner worse than a real stoner?

Maybe it's been deemed a combined bar/picnic area to acknowledge that not everyone on the forum drinks.

I wouldn't know anything about that, though.

This is the worst f**king color scheme ever.

Now you all know what happens when the bride picks the dresses for the bridesmaids.
She picks the most hideous f**king dresses imaginable and makes her supposed best friends wear them
in order to make her look that much better on her wedding day.

I am looking at this shitty scheme right now and thinking the "Server cannot be found"  message I get from
trying to access World Crossing looks damn good.

BOOOO!

I think its pretty crappy that andy got to pick the choices for the poll... i mean... why cant i post a poll?

One that has better options then that previously crappy poll.

George Carlin's "Seven Words You Can Never Say on Television": "shit", "piss", "fuck", "cunt", "cocksucker", "motherfucker", and "tits".
