No team is more interesting than this one thanks to GM Rick Hahn's organizational rebuild around kids. With kids come uncertainty. But kids also bring hope.

They must not have liked what they saw.

What was there to like about a pitcher who gave up 14 hits and 11 earned runs in 12 innings while walking 14, hitting 2 batters and striking out only 3 resulting in a 8.25 ERA with a 2.333 WHIP?

what was there to like, Andy?

his minor league numbers & his performance for the Israeli national team.

His problem is control, but he has been way more effective in the minors than the Becks of the organization.

The White Sox have agreed to sign right-hander Bruce Rondon to a minor league deal.  Rondon will be one of many veterans competing for spots in the Chicago bullpen, joining other offseason minor league signings like Xavier Cedeno, Jeanmar Gomez, Rob Scahill, and T.J. House.

I know a few of you peruse SoxTalk, as do I. Anyone know what's up with that site? It's been down for a few weeks now it seems.

I seem to recall they said they were updating their server, but am not sure.   That might be wrong; I doubt that would take two weeks.

It is strange, the error appears to be in some java code talking about timezone setting. Would think that would be an easy fix, but who know who owns the code behind it.

If I ain't mistaken, we are on the road for all four of those games.   Weird.

I agree with Ricky; a One-Through-Five order of James Shields, Lucas Giolito, Reynaldo Lopez, Miguel Gonzalez and Carson Fulmer "sounds right".   For now, of course.

Fulmer hasn't earned a spot in the rotation.

This decision is a merit free one.

I think Arizona has been very unkind to Fulmer's curve, and expect him to be much better up north.   Can't hurt to try and develop him in the bigs.
