Another reason why I like Oziie:

Manager Ozzie Guillen had a snappy reply Monday night after being asked if the White Sox have an advantage in not facing Jered Weaver or Dan Haren in this week's series against the Angels:   "No  s h i t".

Why do grown women send me gifts of baby squids?  And what kind of farm has squids?

If I ever send anyone such a gift ban me.

Jeff Gray, we hardly knew thee...

The White Sox designated righty Jeff Gray for assignment to open a spot on the 25-man roster for Jake Peavy, tweets MLB.com's Scott Merkin.  The move leaves the Sox with 35 players on their 40-man roster.

Gray, 29, tossed 13 1/3 innings for the Sox this year, including a nice three-inning effort yesterday.  The team had signed Gray to a minor league deal in December after he'd been outrighted by the Cubs.  Gray had been part of the December '09 deal that sent Jake Fox and Aaron Miles to Oakland.

I agree - not too thrilled about it.  I was thinking they send Sale down and let hiom start at Charlotte the rest of the year to get ready for 2012.   But getting rid of Pena is okay by me.

Agreed.  It seems that Sox management is inordinately attached to keeping dead wood (Teahen, Pierre, Pena, Thornton) around.

You can block all those things on face book... when you hit decline it will ask you "block farmville"?

You took the time to create a Facebook account, so what was the point if you don't want to use it?

I don't get it. IMO, great communication tool. There's a reason it's worth billions.

Its worth keeping in contact with long lost friends... sending a message once in a while.

The rest of it... with the retarded games... the stupid requests for retarded games. along with hearing every thing certain people are doing every moment of the day is annoying as ****.

I dont need to know the consistency of each of your bowel movements... and thats about the level of content  being posted on facebook....

Facebook should have been a way to keep in touch with people... its turned into an exercise in trying to make money thru that concept along with a forum to some people to indulge in their vanity 24/7.

Reading this thread, I'm wondering how the Facebook experience is so different from this forum experience . . .

Eh, no one on this forum posts what they're making for dinner or that they're headed to Target or out looking for boxes to start packing for their big move. Some people update their status 10 times a day. Who the heck cares???????? It is very annoying (and dumb).

I like to reconnect with old friends, see pics of them and their family, etc.

That's more or less what I use it for.  Some of the stuff my friends post is funny.

That's about it though.

I appreciate it when folks post really good recipes and stuff (hint, hint, Camel....).
