Bought Hawk’s book, Kindle version. Snoozer. interesting life and I believe it, just bad writing. Oh well - better than watching bad TV.

I stopped watching TV. I read most of the WWII Pacific battles and now am about halfway thru the major battles of the Civil War. I had stopped reading for so long, never thought I would get back into it. But it beats the crap out of the "slime oozing out of the TV set".

If we had to lose a starter I guess Castillo would have been my pick, Kevan Smith was really good last year, he deserves to be in the majors.

Alfredo Gonzalez gets the call for back up catcher. The Adam Engel of catchers. Curious choice.

Also, Leury Garcia on the DL with a knee, Tilson up.

Lots of injuries this year.

As stated in other thread. Gonzalez is about only choice. Smith is on DL, Zavala is on DL, Collins is hitting in AA now and I think they would like to keep him there. Gonzalez sucks, but they do not need to make room on 40-man for him since our catcher is suspended for PEDs we are allowed an exemption on 40-man to replace him. So no one needs to be sacrificed to have Gonzalez come up.

Hmmm, his status is active, interesting. He last played on 21st. Why not bring him up? Must not be fully healthy?
