Supposedly Montgomery, who has been real good since he started playing, is going to be a top 10 recruit across the board. I did not like returns we were getting in the trades, but MLB.com rated the top 40 prospects traded at deadline and Sox have  of them.

C Quero, from Angels, is 4.

LHP Eder from Marlins was 5.  Nastrini, the RHP from Dodgers, is 7.  Bush, the LHP from Angels, was 11.

Lee, the catcher from Astros, is 22.   Leasure, the RHP from Dodgers, is 36. Carela, the RHP from Yankees, is 38.

So somebody liked our returns.

Really no one else to talk about down there. Leasure blew his first save attempt big time yesterday.

The pieces we gave up indicate "we're retooling," but the pieces we got back in return indicate "we're rebuilding."

I hate this front office.

The entire front office from owner down to the managers/coaches is a joke.

So I don't actually watch most of their games.  What's the buzz on Grifols?  Is he a bad manager or a manager of a bad team?

Both.

I went to a game a few weeks ago and instead of coming on to the field to Thunderstruck, they came out to Jakkity Sax.

In Arizona Fall league All-Star game Colson Montgomery his a homer while going 2-2 to gain MVP of the game. Eder, the pitcher we got for Burger got the win going 1 inning. The kid really faring well there that we got from the Dodgers is that relief pitcher Leasure. He has been tough all Fall and striking out a ton of hitters.
