I had heard that some in the org were not happy with the initial deal with LS. I guess there were indicators that LS was having some financial issues even at that time.

I wouldn't mind BBM or GN.

Welcome back dope.  You've been missed!

Did you see that my favorite Gogglebox contributor (Leon) recently passed away?  I'm going to miss his & June's comments.

No I did not know that. I haven't been to the UK in a while.

That's too bad I really enjoyed their commentary.

Thanks

This is funny.   We should embrace this... a sort of team identity... or non-identity, as it were.

Fits well with the counter-culture team identity we discussed ~18 years ago (geez, has it really been that long... how'd the Four Horsemen work out?)

http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/baseball/whitesox/ct-spt-white-sox-wheel-of-fortune-20180206-story.html

The real outrage is no mention of the Fire.  It's gonna be our year this year.

Pitchers and Catchers report tomorrow!

Our long off-season nightmare is finally over.

So, who is reporting in the best shape of their life this year?

Maybe Aaron Myette

Matt Ginter was a good starter in AA with Myette and Buehrle. I did not think Barceló was one, I thought it was Buehrle, Ginter, Myette and someone else. Wasn't the 4 horsemen their AA rotation from that year?

I might be able to answer "me" to that question. Best shape of my life not counting basic training.

Josh Fogg - he had a decently long career as a back-of-the-rotation starter.

Just don't ask Method about the circumstances behind his departure from the Sox to the Pirates prior to the 2002 season.

Fogg, Kip Wells & my guy Sean Wells for Todd Ritchie. What a terrible trade.

Barcelo, Garland, Myette and maybe Ginter. Burly was not really considered a stud in the minors. Wells may have been one.

Now, MB didnt make the 4 horseman, he flew under the radar... I know Kip and Barcelo were part of it... Garland came in at that same point as well.
