I feel bad for him.  You can't flip your bat unless you actually hit a home run.  He must have allot of bat flips pent-up in him.  That's gotta be pretty painful.

Well, it would be a fitting exclamation point to this potential series sweep to lose to our old friend Jose Quintana....

Weekend series was a microcosm of the season.  One game where the starting pitching flat out sucks, one game where the pitching overall is OK but they can't score quite enough, and one game where they get great pitching and score at least enough runs to win but the lack of a closer comes back to bite them.

Trayce Thompson looked good in his White Sox debut today.  Looked good as in "at least he didn't strike out four times"

At the game.
I have seen TWO people with Zavala jerseys!  Go figure.

That was my question?!  But it was in two totally different areas of the stadium. It was like I was in the Twilight zone - not one Ventura or or Konerko uni to be found.  One was standard home the other City Connect.

Crochet has been a very pleasant surprise.

I was shocked to see Eloy already out with a muscle strain

Agree about Crochet; not surprised at all that Eloy is hurt.  That's what he does.

I meant to put my comment on Eloy in purple

Jiminez, Moncada, Robert all injured once again.  Think they've used 'roids in the past?

Reds winning 4-0 after 3 innings and ESPN Gamecast only lists their probability of winning at 90.3%.  Should be 100%; perhaps ESPN forgot they are playing the White Sox.

Hard to win when your starting line up has 6 guys batting under .200 and another barely over it.

FWIW, Joe Cowley claims that Reinsdorf wouldn't let Getz fire Pedro because he didn't want to pay two managers this year.   Not sure if it's true, but it does align with the bizarre recent sell off those couple of players for cash considerations.  Poor Jerry needs money.
