Just released TJ House and promoted Spencer Adams to Charlotte.

House deserved the ax, Adams didn't deserve the promotion.

After 3 consecutive fabulous starts I think he did. Also, not there's much of a difference between AA and AAA.

He's next in line, been hot for 3 starts as you said. I have no problem with it. Like to see what he does, he still has a shot. Stephens is kicking butt right now in AAA.

Don Roach picked up another W, he's been pitching real well at Charlotte.

Charlotte's best hitters have been Mason Robbins & Eddie Alvarez. whoda thunkit.

Tanner Banks won again at Winston Salem. He and Kyle Kubat are too old for high A ball, they both deserve a shot at AA.

We have a glut of pitchers, not many left that are release-able, sure was good to see House go. Banks and Kubat are not real prospects either.

Tomshaw or Banks.

Walsh or Kubat.

these are easy decisions IMO.

doesn't mean they'll succeed, but everyone deserves a chance to fail.

3.22 ERA, 1.33 WHIP  Dunning's K per inning good, walks & HB raise his WHIP, so I guess he needs to refine his control a bit. Nothing really stands out as a worry.

I would like to get rid of both Tomshaw and Walsh. I would promote Cease before Banks, but they likely will not since Banks has AA experience already.

In 3 innings Kopech walked 8, hit 2 batters & threw 5 wild pitches.

I can honestly say I've never seen a box score like that!

Kopech must be a mental midget to do something like that.

Our DSL team sucks (2-10). At least they seem younger than usual.

Last few years I lived in Chicago I bowled in a league.  There was an 82 year old gentleman who bowled on another team.  Great guy but obviously a little older than the rest of us and was past his bowling prime.  I remember once we were bowling against his team (who were mostly young guys like us); he hit his leg on his approach and the ball went right into the gutter.  His teammates immediately let out a collective, good-natured groan.  He waited till they stopped then said

"hey, I was trying something new!"

Ever since then I have used that line when I screw something royally up.

Fulmer 5.1 IP, 7 H, 6 W, 1 WP.

How the hell did he only give up 2 runs?

Min, you got a web page listing the Sox draft picks & whether they've signed?

combine these three to get your answer:

https://www.mlb.com/draft/tracker/whitesox

http://m.mlb.com/cws/roster/transactions/

http://www.chicagonow.com/future-sox/2018/06/2018-futuresox-draft-tracker/

Thanks Andy, same one I would have mentioned. Last I knew, out of first 32 picks (likely not signing anyone after that round) we have NOT signed: 1, 2, 3, 12, 14 and 22. 3 or 4 of those still playing in CWS, 12 and 22 are not, not sure about 3.
