Charlotte down 2-1 in the 7th, Peavy went 6 innings, 8 hits, 0 walks, 2 ER, 4 Ks. He allowed a homer. He threw 72 pitches, 55 of them strikes.

"Stuff" and command-wise, I'd agree.

The only reason he's down there at this point is to build up stamina.

I'm guessing if we see Humber lit up tomorrow, we'll see Peavy sooner rather than later.
