Sure he does. He throws a lot of pitches, never gets deep into a game. Closing or setup might make him concentrate better and make better use of his pitches. I think he throws hard enough and typically a guy adds a bit to his FB when relieving.

Hes got command of a FB and change that say he can close. I think he'll do well in that role.

Hansen might end up being the best of that bunch.

I disagree about R Lopez, he will be a solid starter, but on Henson, here is what K Law says "Hansen still has a ways to go in terms of command, but he already has made substantial progress since the White Sox drafted him in the second round 15 months ago, enough that if we redid that 2016 draft he'd probably go among the top 10 picks."

So while the screw up on F Tatis hurts, Henson offsets that. You can't win them all.

Forget that Kopech is only 20. Think he becomes the ace

He's been 21 since April. 2nd half of this year has been very encouraging though.

eh, technicalities. He has been dominant at his age in AA. Lets hope he has more innings left in his arm than Rodon had.

Great Falls won 2nd half division, they start their playoffs tonight.

Kanny swept their first playoff opponent in 2 games, on Monday they will start their championship series.

Glendale wins again today. Polo was 2-4 again, stole 2 bases, caught stealing once, scored twice and had an RBI.

Zavala 2-4 with 2 doubles, 2 RBI and a run scored.

Mendick was 1-3 with a HBP. He did make an error at SS as well.

Connor Walsh went an inning and 2/3 in relief. Gave up only 1 run despite walking 3 and giving up 2 hits, one a solo shot. He did have 2 Ks.

Me likey Zavala. Hits a lot better than Collins. Polo looks like he has a MLB future. Mendick separated himself from the pack this year.

They won again today, 4-3, now a 4-1 record. No hitters for Sox in lineup, Foster went one inning and gave up 1 run for a blown save.

Thanks Theo for Eloy.  Hope you enjoyed Q tonight.  I know Loveland did.

Before last night Q had been pitching verywell. No matter what he does for the Cubs I am happy with the trade. I know Eloy hasn't proven anything yet but I would be very surprised if he were a complete bust. He's looking like a hitting monster so far and if that does translate to what we think he could be in MLB, I would not regret this trade one minute. The Sox need some serious thunder in the lineup and Jimenez looks like he will provide it.
