These comments are just NOT fair at all.  If only the Chicago National League ballclub would have provided poor Q with 7 runs!  Then this would have never happened! Poor guy, he cannot get any run support and look at you kicking him when he is down.  As you can see I am a changed person.

And shame on you MSF for wishing me no satisfaction in life.

it's official:

Hope Hunnie and her family are there to see it in person.

Too bad they didn't call him up a couple of days ago so he'd make his ML debut at 35th & Bill Veeck Drive.

Field went 2-4 yesterday, which included his first mlb hit I believe.

Nationals need Bullpen help already. Soria needs to have a few good weeks so we can flip him.

Him coming up keyed a 8 game win streak for the Rays. they scored atleast 8 runs in 7 of those games.

Interesting transaction for the A's.  They send down one of Blackie's favs, Chris "The Hound" Bassitt and call up Frankie Montes (who pitched well yesterday)

Anthony Rizzo gets away with another dirty slide. He was still 30 feet away from the plate when Diaz tagged the plate and then Rizzo slid to the first base side throwing his left leg going for Diaz's leg. Luckily Diaz wasn't seriously hurt on the play. Pirates and Clint Hurdle might send him a message this series. A 95+ MPH fastball into his ribs is possible.

Tyler Saladino to DL with sprained ankle. He's been the Brewers starting shortstop, hitting .324.

Hard luck just follows him around.

LOL, I saw this from a Cub fan on the Illini forum and thought maybe Loveland had been hanging out there. Pretty spot on with what Love thinks of Quintana.

"Yeah, I thought Quintana would be solid after having time to settle into his new organization. I was incorrect. It seems like he was pitching freely with the White Sox, a team with no expectations, and has now kind of tightened up under the pressure of pitching in front of sold out crowds for a contender. I hope he can take a step forward, but who knows if that will happen. The offense has been fine. Now, the Cubs need more than 2/5s of their rotation to start pitching to their capabilities. "

Oh yes, I'm so sure that's what's wrong with Quintana.....eye roll
