Typical Chi media. Anything to do the Cub is a news story.

Just like Krissy Bryant going to Austria. Did any rational person think it would turnout any different or think it funny. But yet they had to do a story on it.

Or Bryce Harper coming over for "Game Night" at the Bryant's house

I'm surprised they haven't done a story on "Kris Bryant Learns To Drive In The Snow" let the hilarity ensue

A's just DFA'd Brandon Moss. Given our lack of LH power, I'd wait the 5 days and then kick the tires on him.
He'd be a cheap addition and unlike some of our younger hitters, will actually take a walk.

That, walks, was actually a positive last season. Moncada and Delmonico got on base. Anderson not so

Prediction Time! Guess your winners...

American League

AL East: Yankees
Toss-up between NY and Boston. I'll go with Aaron Judge.

AL Central: Twins
Indians look stronger on paper, but Twins are younger and hungrier.

AL West: Astros
Easiest pick of the bunch. Every other team in the West has glaring holes.

Wild Cards: Red Sox, Indians
Sale vs. Kluber  in a play-in game. Must-see TV...

ALCS: Yankees over Astros
...except, we've all seen Sale in September and October...Astros take care of Red Sox, Yankees vs. Twins gives us usual playoff result. Yankees beat a fatigued Houston team in 6.

National League

NL East: Nationals
This will be a surprisingly close division. Phillies, Mets will be better.

NL Central: Cubs
No one is close. Brewers are short on pitching. St. Louis is duct-taped together. Pittsburgh is Tampa.

NL West: Dodgers
Diamondbacks should provide some stress. Still, this is the deepest pitching staff in baseball.

Wild Cards: Phillies, Diamondbacks
You just know Arrieta is pitching against the Cubs in the playoffs. He'll beat Arizona for the opportunity...

NLCS: Nationals over Cubs
...and lose. Badly. The Nationals, however, will get stellar pitching all the way through. Maddon will leave Quintana in too long, to Loveland's delight...

World Series

Nationals in 7
Yankees have heavier lumber, but pitching wins championships. Nationals finally finish on top in a classic.

You're allowed 30 minutes to edit or delete your posts before it's locked in.  That should be more than enough time to catch a 'mistake'.

Marlins ranked last in MLB power rankings.  Split series with the Cub throwing their top 4 pitchers.

I hate to see him struggle, even tho on the Coo, because it just gives Loveland so much satisfaction.
