Unless you are the one making deals with KW... then you can give up crap and get quality.

As soon as I posted I knew this type of statement was forthcoming. You don't give him enough credit. Yes he's made some bad deals....as every GM has....but he's made some really good moves too. This type of statement is unfair, imo.

But you'll defend Ozzie who's an embarrassing asshat.

Ozzies mistakes dont cost millions of dollars and handcuff our team for years to come.

See Alex Rios. Ozzie has the balls to bench the asshat, KW claims the embarrassment from another team.

As the resident politician, I'd like to offer a compromise bill;

KW, Ozzie and Alex are all embarassing asshats and should all be jettisoned.

Of course, since they are all minorities and this might seem a racist move, I'll also throw in Greg Walker as the token white guy.

Ozzie's mistakes cost us WINS. And he didn't have the balls to bench Rios. In fact, it was KW who said he was bringing up DeAza and that Rios was being benched indefinitely. Then Ozzie turns around and says he's going to find a way to play both DeAza and Rios. Okay.

Hey, both men have issues. I just can't see how you can be so against one and not the other.

He's finally benched said asshat after 100 games.

The best thing to come out of this conversation is the revelation that "asshat" isn't censored.

Quentin would yield a lot, depending on whether or not your name is Wshfl.

Hey! Easy bro. I am in favor of unloading Quentin. We need more talent both for the system to develop and for the big league club.

I just want position players that arent glorified DHs.

Isn't it the White Sox who are also desperate for offense? And there's interest in moving a guy with 62 RBI; an OBP of .353; OPS of .863; OPS of .825 2 outs, RISP; and an OPS of .927 late & close?

Kinda where my head is at too.

Right, he pops out some times, and looks bad some times. That places him in the category of "pretty much every one who's ever played".

Dan Uggla:  he's no Adam Dunn.

Hanging around the .170 mark in early July, he's gone 34-for-96 with 11 HRs since July 5th, raising his average around 40 points.

I hear that he flipped the bird to a toddler sitting in the first row behind the dugout as a celebratory gesture.
